During the NFL regular season the weekly MATCHUP  feature allows me to exhibit my “die hard” Dallas Cowboys spirit–and win or lose great sportsmanship–by showcasing something tasty from our weekly opponents homefield.  Fashion, Football, and Food.  Now that’s my kinda matchup!

FASHION MATCHUP:

Citizens of Humanity Daisy Boyfriend Jeans
Mitchell & Ness Dallas Cowboys Navy Pullover Hoodie
Black Icon Leather Blazer
Converse All Star Slushie

FOOTBALL MATCHUP WEEK 15:  Dallas Cowboys vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Captain Morgan and I have shared many fond moments in Tampa.  Last night as I sipped on a glass of Private Stock with a twist of lime,  I laughed to myself and thanked the Cowboys’ lucky stars that The Bucs sucked more than us:-)

FOOD MATCHUP:  Sherried Black Bean Soup | Food & Wine

When I lived in Tampa, Ybor City’s Columbia Restaurant was one of my favorite places to enjoy a bowl of black bean soup.  Once I moved to Miami I soon discovered and  rather quickly became addicted to the pureed black bean soup at the charming Christy’s Restaurant.  For me, anything served with a shot of sherry on the side inevitably leads to love at first taste!

Chef Michelle Bernstein contributed today’s food matchup recipe to Food & Wine.    I guess you could say this black bean soup is Tampa Bay’s with Miami swagger.  Like everything Michelle creates, it’s muy bueno!
